About the Earthquake hit Ishikawa Prefecture of Japan on January 1st, 2024.

On January 1, 2024, at 16:10 Japan Standard Time, an earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 7 (Magnitude 7.6) was observed with the epicenter in Japan’s Noto Peninsula (nearly 30 km east-northeast of Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, 16-kilometer-deep) has occurred.

We would like to offer our sincere prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives, and our deepest sympathies to those affected by the disaster.

Regarding the impact of this earthquake on our business activities, there was no direct damage to our own facilities that manufacture products (Saitama Plant, Logistics/Sterilization Center, Hokkaido Plant) and our partners’ facilities. We would like to inform you that there is no impact on product manufacturing or delivery dates as of today. Also, there will be no impact on our export activities due to this earthquake.

We, Unisis Corp., will continue to maintain activities to ensure stable supplies of our products.
